SOA Architect - San Antonio, Texas

Our Client is seeking a SOA Architect to join a development team building the next generation systems and for managing customer interactions.

The position requires an outstanding candidate who combines technical strength with significant experience in architecting large-scale enterprise systems.

Principal responsibilities:
* Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing, a client’s Service-Oriented Architecture.
* Demonstrates expertise in a variety of SOA concepts, best practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typical candidate will have consulting experience with strong communication skills.
* Design and develop software in order to deliver a high quality, robust system for production implementation.
* Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analyst and other groups; providing technical leadership for integration efforts on SOA platforms.
* Design and develop SOA integrations like Business Process Modeling, Service Bus, and Data Services according to standard industry practices and patterns.
* Assisting the client organization through collaboration with senior stakeholders in identifying a strategy to enable the enterprise to migrate towards a mature SOA.
* Analyzing the ‘layout’ of the enterprise in order to recommend the most appropriate Enterprise SOA Governance Framework Model.
• Identifying and documenting the standards, policies and processes required to sustain a robust SOA.

Qualifications:
* 10+ years SOA experience.
* Consistent track record demonstrating ability to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software for enterprise-grade systems.
* Deep hands-on experience in software development, focused on SOA development.
* Experience in CRM and/or workflow applications is desirable

Hourly Rate: 85 - 95 per hour + expense
Location: San Antonio, Texas
